In order to promote safety within the schools as well as build positive relationships with students, parents, and educators, Hobbs P.D. maintains school resource officers on a full time basis in the Hobbs Municipal Schools. These officers act as department liasons to the schools and provide enchanced campus security. In addition to the seconary schools listed below, each SRO is assigned several elementary schools for periodic visitation and education.
