The Hobbs Police Department has a fifty (50) bed detention facility which houses both adult males and females. It is also a tempor ary holding facility for juvenile offenders.
Individuals arrested by Hobbs Police Officers are brought to this facility for booking, and those convicted of violations of city ordinances are sentenced to jail time by municipal judges serve their time here.

Visitation Procedures:
All visitors will register at the desk in the police department lobby and provide some type of photo ID and provide the name of the inmate. Visitors will remain in the lobby after registration until their name is called. They will then be escorted to the visitation area. |
